NTPC Barh took a proactive approach to combat malaria in the region by observing World Malaria Day on April 25, 2024. As part of this initiative, Mr. Deoraj Anand, Senior Manager (R&R), and Mr. Rajat Kumar, Officer (Medical), visited Middle School Dhivar, Pandarak, to educate school children about malaria and the precautionary measures they can take to prevent it.

During their visit, they distributed Chloroquine tablets to the school children, along with treats, to help protect them from malaria. This is a significant step towards raising awareness about the disease and ensuring that preventive measures are taken to safeguard the health of the community, especially those in the rural areas where the disease is known to affect the population.
